Life At Clinton House
Where professional nursing care provides the confidence to keep living life your way . . .
At Clinton House, we believe moving into care should never mean giving up the things that bring purpose, enjoyment and meaning to life. Instead, it provides the reassurance that professional support is always close at hand, allowing residents to focus on living well each day.
Our residents benefit from 24-hour nurse-led care, with experienced nursing support available whenever it is needed. We are visited regularly by our GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioner each week and work closely with a range of NHS professionals, including Care Home Liaison (CHL), Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), Tissue Viability, Community Psychiatric Nursing (CPN), Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services, ensuring residents receive the support they need.
Alongside clinical care, residents can access a range of additional services including our weekly Hairdresser, regular Chiropody appointments and monthly Pamper Sessions, helping everyone continue to look and feel their best.
Daily life is enriched through our activities programme, led by Activity Coordinators Alison and Gemma. From exercise, music, games and celebrations to one-to-one time, reminiscence activities and community events, our residents can choose to join in as much or as little as they wish, spending their time in a way that suits them.
With the addition of our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, residents can continue to enjoy outings and experiences beyond Clinton House. Whether it’s a trip to the garden centre, a visit to a local café, a scenic drive or attending a community event, the world remains open and accessible.
We believe food should never become an afterthought. Led by our Catering Manager Fiona and Cook Irene, our kitchen team prepares fresh home-cooked meals every day, tailored to residents’ tastes and dietary needs. From Fish Supper Fridays and homemade baking to afternoon teas and seasonal celebrations, food continues to be one of life’s greatest pleasures at Clinton House.
Residents can also spend time in our garden, a peaceful outdoor space to relax, socialise with visitors or simply enjoy some fresh air. During the warmer months, our Garden Club helps residents stay connected to nature and enjoy the changing seasons.
At Clinton House, life is about far more than receiving care. It is about maintaining independence, enjoying meaningful relationships, making new memories and having the confidence to embrace each day, knowing support is always there when needed.
